Girls Basketball

Wairarapa College has had a lot of success in the local competition.

The Senior A Team won the Wairarapa Secondary Competition and the Junior A Team were runners up

We had a number of students selected in the All Star 5 Senior and Junior Teams.

The MVP for the 2009 season was Shakira Baker. With Julie Malcolm and Courtney Hamilton joining Shakira in the All Star Team. Te Aniwaniwa Hurihanganui was selected in the Junior All Star Team.

Girls Basketball is played during Term 2 on Wednesdays between 4.00 – 8.00 pm

Most games are played at either the Wairarapa College Gym or the St Matthew’s Collegiate Gym.
