Expenses generated in travelling to Masterton may be subsidised by the College. Discuss this with the principal when you first ring him, and if you are invited for an interview, he will be able to confirm this.
Accommodation in Masterton is relatively economical, whether renting a house or flat. Positions may be available in the college hostel where, in return for some duties, it is possible to live cheaply.
Travel to Wellington and Palmerston North is easy - an hour and a half at the most in each case. Mountains, rivers and beaches are all on our doorstep and Masterton offers a wide range of sporting and cultural opportunities for those who wish to pursue them.
